Join us in celebrating a once-in-history landmark!
On 21 May 2025, we mark the 40th Anniversary of the Official Center of the World, as established by Imperial County law (Book 255, File 140.13B, Pages 259–260) — the first and only time such a designation has been made in recorded history.
In 1989, this unique location received international recognition from the Government of France, which notified all European Union member countries, further solidifying its place in world history.
To commemorate this extraordinary anniversary:
